DiskoKlub, das ist elektronische Musik mit nuanciertem Pop-Appeal, tanzbar, hymnisch, leidenschaftlich. Ein neues Duo aus Berlin, mit Wurzeln von Disco und House bis zu Klassik und Techno. Jeder Track eine Welt für sich, mit weitem Horizont jedoch stets zugänglich und eingängig. DiskoKlub, Musik dessen Name in ihren Schöpfern begründet liegt:

Disko, das ist Michael, DJ, Event-Designer und Entertainer. Mit über 2000 Gigs in ganz Deutschland ein Veteran im Showbusiness. Ein Lebemann, der seine Fähigkeiten von Organisation und Liebe zur Kunst in seinen zahlreichen Auftritten und eigenen Veranstaltungen bewiesen hat. Ebenso seine Teamfähigkeit, denn Michael hat stets andere Musiker und Kreative an sich gebunden,

um seine Kunst einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich zu machen sowie sich weiterzuentwickeln. So auch vor einigen Jahren, als er seinen damaligen Ableton Live Dozenten Julian kennenlernte und ihn fortan als Musik Produzenten für sein neues Projekt begeistern konnte.

Klub, das ist Julian, Musik Produzent, Komponist und Techno-Gourmet. Ein Autodidakt, der stets seine Leidenschaft zur Musik – die bereits in seinen frühen Lebensjahren geprägt und gefördert wurde – zum Beruf gemacht hat. Am Anfang war die Komposition von klassischer Filmmusik, dann kamen Sound Design und Musik-Produktion hinzu. Immer dabei war der Techno, dessen Lehren über Tanzbarkeit und Intensität bis heute in die Musik von DiskoKlub einfließt.

Mit diesen vielseitigen und manchmal gegensätzlichen musikalischen Wurzeln geprägt, manchmal Fluch, viel öfter aber Segen, entstanden in den ersten Monaten der Zusammenarbeit einzigartige Tracks. Jeder für sich eine eigene Welt, jedoch nie den roten Faden verlierend. DiskoKlub, das ist auch ein Kollektiv-Gedanke, denn für jeden Track haben die beiden unterschiedliche Sänger verpflichtet. Diese sind mitunter auch auf den Live Shows der beiden zu erleben. Einer ihrer engsten Vertrauten und geschätztesten Vokalisten ist Chris Gogler, der bereits mehrere Songs mit seiner Stimme veredelt hat. So entsteht um die beiden Protagonisten ein lebendiger Kreativ-Kosmos, der immer wächst und neue Nuancen kraftvoller Musik hinzufügt.

Mit dem Release ihres ersten Albums streben die beiden nichts anderes als den Pop Olymp an. DiskoKlub, ein Name der einem fortan öfters begegnen wird. Von den Tanzflächen dieser Welt, sei es Disco oder Club, bis hin zu den Radios von uns allen.

DiskoKlub, that’s electronic music with nuanced pop appeal, danceable, anthemic, passionate. A new duo from Berlin, with roots ranging from disco and house to classical music and techno. Each track a world of its own, with a wide horizon yet always accessible and catchy. DiskoKlub, music whose name is rooted in its creators:

Disko, that is Michael, DJ, event designer and entertainer. With over 2000 gigs all over Germany a veteran in show business. A bon vivant who has proven his skills of organization and love of art in his numerous gigs and own events. As well as his ability to work in a team, because Michael has always tied other musicians and creatives to him, in order to make his art accessible to a wider audience as well as to develop himself further. This was

also the case a few years ago, when he met his then Ableton Live instructor Julian and was able to inspire him from then on as a music producer for his new project.

Klub, that is Julian, music producer, composer and techno gourmet. A self-taught musician who has always turned his passion for music – which was shaped and encouraged in his early years – into his profession. In the beginning was the composition of classical film music, then came sound design and music production. Always present was techno, whose lessons about danceability and intensity are still incorporated into DiskoKlub’s music today.

With these versatile and sometimes conflicting musical roots imprinted, sometimes a curse, but much more often a blessing, many unique tracks were created in the first months of collaboration. Each one a world of its own, but never losing the common thread. DiskoKlub, that is also a collective thought, because for each track the two have engaged different singers. These are sometimes also to be experienced at the live shows of the two. One of their closest confidants and most valued vocalists is Chris Gogler, who has already enhanced several songs with his voice. Thus, around the two protagonists a lively creative cosmos is formed, which is always growing and adding new nuances of powerful music.

With the release of their first album, the two aspire to nothing less than the pop Olympus. DiskoKlub, a name you will encounter more often from now on. From the dance floors of this world, be it disco or club, to the radios of us all.
